Unfortunately, we are often conditioned to feel guilty for wanting too much. Many believe that there is a blatant contradiction between wanting to have it all and feeling empathetic to the plight of less fortunate people. Basically, we are led to believe that it is evil to be rich in a world filled with poverty. This attitude misses a crucial truth of humanity. Evolution is an individual experience, and each individual must learn for him or herself how to manifest more of the life energy we all desire. We cannot help others by being pulled down by the “reality” of the world's suffering. Empathy does not mean you must be as sad and poor as the rest of humanity. True empathy means that you use your personal power, your hopeful energy, and your wealth to solve the situations of the world that you find unsatisfactory. Only when each individual stakes their claim to divine power can negative physical experiences be alleviated.
